Just enjoy the special FX. Nothing else : Transformers Revenge Of The Fallen (2009) Movie Review

This is the movie that i've been waiting for 2009. I have to pass my lunch break at the office to get the ticket. To be honest, it's beyond my expectation in some aspect. But in others, it blows my mind away. Warning, inside this post may contain spoiler.

The first impression i get when watching Revenge Of The Fallen(ROTF) is the movie is too long. When you feel too long, then something isn't right. I asked my self, "Why did i feel like that watching this freakin' awesome movie?". My mind keep struggling while i watch the movie. After the movie ends, that question still bugging me. My friends also have some thoughts about the movie too. Maybe i have to breakdown my mind to analyze this.

If there's a sequel, like it or not, you'll compare it to the original movie. ROTF definately has more actions or robots or special effects, whatever you name it. I mean MORE... For the action freaks, action scenes of this movie will blown your imaginations to the limit. The forrest battle where Optimus is take on Megatron, Blackout, and Starscream are AWESOME... More awesome than the first scene with Demolishor(big robots with giant wheels on it) and the final battle against The Fallen. Watching this movie, made me wonder if the robots are real. How cool was that. But why i still feel this movie is too long? hmm.. Maybe the weakness is in the plot. The plot is not as solid as in the first movie. There are to many subplot that is unnecessary. Such as first time Sam and the family come to the college. Or when Sam is chased by girl robot(is it Transformers or Terminator heh?), or the scene where Sam is hiding from the FBI and CIA. Maybe my biggest dissapointment is scenes with Demolishor and Devastator. How can that big(very big) robots, especially Devastator, beaten that easily. I still hope in the third movie that Devastator will be back.

When you go to watch ROTF, don't think to much. Just enjoy the show. That's why the movie called Transformers. The focus is not in the humans, but in the big robots blowing things up. Oh yeah, i almost forgot one thing. Megan Fox is HOTTER... Hehehehe
